About the position
The Power BI Analyst will play a crucial role in developing and managing business intelligence solutions at Evans General Contractors, LLC. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and expertise in Power BI to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, supporting decision-making across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Create and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data extraction and transformation.
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure consistent reporting standards.
- Conduct training sessions to educate users on Power BI functionalities.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions to enhance data quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Power BI and a strong understanding of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
