About the position

Kforce has a client seeking a Power BI Analyst in Tampa, FL. This role is pivotal in leading the project to merge systems, emphasizing product ownership rather than development. The analyst will assist in data modeling in Power BI, although no data ingestion is required. A significant part of the job involves building and presenting visualizations in Power BI to stakeholders, ensuring that the insights derived from data are effectively communicated and utilized. The position requires a strong finance background, particularly in commercial or supply chain experience, to inform project decisions. The analyst will provide financial acumen and insights to support various business functions, ensuring that financial considerations are integrated into the project workflow. Leadership and communication skills are essential, as the analyst will drive project conversations, leading and influencing stakeholders across multiple departments. This includes conducting wire framing sessions and meeting with customers to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress. Additionally, the analyst will support intake processes for different departments, including manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, corporate functions, and HR. This multifaceted role requires adaptability and the ability to thrive in a chaotic and changing environment, making it crucial for the analyst to be resourceful in learning and problem-solving, utilizing platforms like YouTube and Chat GPT to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project to merge systems, focusing on product ownership rather than development.
  • Assist in data modeling in Power BI; no data ingestion required.
  • Build and present visualizations in Power BI to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a product ownership role, preferably within a digital transformation or system merger project.
  • Hands-on experience with large enterprise systems, particularly S4/HANA and Fiori.
  • Strong background in finance, with additional knowledge in commercial or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of large enterprise systems.
  • Proficient in Power BI for data modeling and visualization.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive conversations and influence stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy, with a curiosity and aptitude for learning new technologies and tools independently.
  • Be resourceful in learning and problem-solving, using platforms like YouTube and Chat GPT.
  • Thrive in a chaotic and changing environment.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days per week in the office.
