About the position

The Power BI Architect position at Cognizant is a senior-level role focused on leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to enhance decision-making processes for clients. The architect will be responsible for designing and implementing Power BI solutions, ensuring effective data modeling, and optimizing performance. This remote position allows for collaboration with business stakeholders to develop future roadmaps and integrate analytics into business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI visualization solutions.
• Implement Power BI architecture and best practices, including row-level security.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop future roadmaps.
• Optimize server performance and report generation for Power BI applications.
• Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics.
• Document and present findings and solutions effectively.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Data and Analytics.
• 10 years of experience in BI Reporting, preferably with Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI architecture and data modeling.
• Sophisticated knowledge of DAX formulas and queries.
• Effective communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Retail/Consumer Goods business.
• Experience in BI migration projects.
