About the position

The Power BI Dashboard Developer position at Ark Solutions involves providing business and systems analysis, modeling, design, and programming for the development and maintenance of dashboards related to FNS and SNAP. The role requires collaboration with the team to enhance existing dashboards, address change requests, and fix defects, while also developing ETLs and Synapse pipelines. Additionally, the developer will train other program teams in Power BI and Synapse coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting code for FNS and SNAP using Power BI and Azure Synapse.
• Address change requests and fix defects from the backlog.
• Develop ETLs and Synapse pipelines alongside Power BI code.
• Train other program teams on developing Synapse and Power BI code.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience developing dashboards using Power BI and Azure Synapse.
• 5 years of experience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, and ETL tools.
• 5 years of experience with PL/SQL scripting and relational database modeling.
• 5 years of experience with structured system development methodologies.
• 5 years of experience in developing relationships with customers and responding to their needs.

Nice-to-haves

• 5 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT.
• 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• 2 years of experience in Data Warehouse.
• 2 years of familiarity with Amazon RedShift and Tableau.
• 2 years of experience with Dell Boomi.
