About the position
The Power BI Data Analyst/Systems Support Analyst role involves implementing, customizing, and maintaining business data information systems while providing systems and application support as needed. This position is crucial for enabling data-driven decision-making through insightful reporting and ensuring data integrity and security within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in data analysis to provide business units with timely access to reliable, repeatable, and insightful reporting.
- Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy of master data, identifying trends that may indicate data quality issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, implementing changes to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Manage system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure data protection and recoverability in the event of a disaster.
- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI and Excel.
- Strong background in systems and application support.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar SaaS ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
- Previous exposure to the FMCG industry is highly valued.
- Familiarity with security policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
