About the position

The PowerBI Developer role is a short-term engagement focused on creating and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The position is 100% remote, with optional onsite work available in Chicago or Charlotte. The developer will be responsible for data modeling, report creation, data transformation, and providing actionable business insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Creating data models that integrate various data sources.
• Developing interactive reports and dashboards to visualize data.
• Cleaning and transforming data to make it suitable for analysis.
• Providing actionable business insights to support decision-making.
• Ensuring the ongoing functionality and performance of BI solutions.

Requirements

• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and data warehousing.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive insights.
• Strong communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting and optimizing BI solutions.
• Typically a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Prior experience in data preparation, data warehousing, and using the Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS).
