About the position

The Power BI Developer and Architect roles involve creating and managing operational reporting using Power BI, with a focus on live data integration from Oracle and Snowflake. The positions require extensive experience in Power BI, including data modeling, report publishing, and advanced features like DAX calculations. The roles are designed for professionals who can translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement security models as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create operational reporting using PowerBI in live query mode connecting to Oracle and Snowflake.
• Implement Row-Level security model where necessary.
• Publish reports to PowerBI Cloud Service and set up connections to On-Prem data sources using gateways.
• Define the PowerBI Data model and relationships between various objects.
• Utilize advanced PowerBI features such as DAX Calculations, drill throughs, and hierarchies.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, or other stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in IT/Power BI.
• Proficiency in creating operational reports using Power BI with live data connections.
• Experience with Row-Level security implementation in Power BI.
• Knowledge of publishing reports to Power BI Cloud Service and setting up data source connections using gateways.
• Ability to define Power BI Data models and relationships between objects.
• Experience with advanced Power BI features including DAX calculations, drill throughs, and hierarchies.
