About the position

The position involves developing, designing, and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards to support business intelligence needs. The role requires collaboration with IT teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity while optimizing report performance. The candidate will also provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the tools provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and deploy intuitive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Implement data models and schemas that support business intelligence requirements.
• Conduct data analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and utilize Incremental Refresh.
• Stay up to date with the latest features and best practices in Power BI.
• Provide end-user training and support as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development and data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M Query.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and SQL.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the energy sector or with utility companies.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
• Certification in Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst is a plus.
