About the position

The PowerBI Developer (Data Analyst) role at iTalent Digital involves leveraging data analysis and visualization skills to enhance business reporting and decision-making processes. The position focuses on gathering, transforming, and analyzing data from various sources, primarily using Power BI and DAX, to create insightful reports and dashboards that support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting functions.
• Gather Retail Operations data from multiple databases, platforms, stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors for analysis.
• Transform large data sets through data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Leverage Power BI to build and maintain custom reports and dashboards to reveal trends and correlations in large data sets.
• Implement row level security in Power BI to enable secured viewing of reports for designated job levels and locations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs for executing strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Identify and communicate any data-related issues and recommendations to the business owner, manager, and team.
• Provide data insights and solutions to leaders to drive decision-making.

Requirements

• Proficiency in R for data cleaning, calculations on large datasets, and exploratory data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, especially with DAX, Power Query, Dataflows, and Row Level Security (RLS).
• Strong visualization skills with a focus on user experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Python for occasional data tasks.
