About the position

GovCIO is seeking a PowerBI Developer to support business intelligence dashboarding and data management. This hybrid position is based in Stafford/Quantico, VA, and involves developing and updating PowerBI reports, managing data, and providing insights to enhance customer workflow and decision-making. The role requires a strong understanding of business intelligence technologies, data modeling, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update PowerBI reports to improve customer workflow and decision-making.
• Manage data and evaluate results as per customer direction.
• Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze and display metric data in shared environments.
• Design and create software and database systems using relational database management tools.
• Interpret and evaluate the accuracy of results through iterative, agile methods.
• Collaborate with data SMEs, business, and management to prioritize business and information needs.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 9+ years of PowerBI focused work experience.
• Valid Secret Clearance.
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Expertise in developing and optimizing business intelligence reports and dashboards.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling and data visualization concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of business intelligence languages for report customization.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and extraction.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with project lifecycle coordination activities.
• Experience conducting preliminary analysis and feasibility studies to identify user requirements and management issues.
• Experience analyzing complex systems to create design layouts, reports, tables, and queries.
