About the position

The Power BI Developer position is a mid-level role focused on enhancing existing processes and developing new solutions using Power BI. The developer will transform raw data into actionable insights through report creation and dashboard development, playing a crucial role in supporting strategic initiatives by bridging the gap between data and decision-making. This is a fully remote, six-month contract position.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address data needs.
• Analyze datasets to uncover trends and insights.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity within BI systems.
• Understand data warehousing and BI concepts.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in creating Power BI dashboards
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques
• Proficiency in data analytics with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving
• Experience with Copilot (Generative AI) in Power BI is a plus
• High standards for visualizations, with a focus on audience and decision-making impact.
