About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Power BI Developer with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Power BI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Power BI Premium and will be proficient in Power Query, M language, Power Maps, and Custom Visualizations. The role requires the ability to write advanced DAX expressions and experience in Power BI administration, including managing permissions, installing gateways, and scheduling reports. The Power BI Developer will work with various data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, SSAS, Azure Analysis Services, and HDFS. Data preparation using the built-in features of Power BI is essential, along with experience in data modeling and custom calculations. The candidate should also be adept at managing large volumes of data, performing SQL query tuning for optimal performance, and improving data processing speed through SQL automation. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of applications to meet the requirements of one or more user areas. You will maintain the source code in a central repository with proper version control. Additionally, expertise in designing and suggesting user interfaces based on user requirements is crucial. Exposure to other reporting tools like Qlik and Cognos is considered a plus. The ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects is essential, along with strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while possessing strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative problem-solving style.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Certified Power BI Resource with at least 6 years of experience.
• Experience working on Power BI Premium.
