About the position

The Power BI Developer role involves designing and delivering visually engaging reports using Power BI and related tools. The position requires extensive experience in business intelligence and data analytics, with a focus on creating intuitive reports that meet the needs of stakeholders, particularly in the finance and private equity sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver intuitive and visually engaging Power BI reports and Paginated Reports.
• Utilize Power Query, DAX, and data modeling techniques to create effective data visualizations.
• Develop SSRS and Paginated Reports using Report Builder.
• Transform data using Python tools and libraries for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering Power BI reports.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Proficiency in Power BI Power Query, DAX, and visualization techniques.
• Experience with Python data transformation tools and libraries.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant knowledge and experience in private equity or finance.
• Power BI (or relevant) certifications.
• Experience with Tableau and Microsoft cloud data platforms (e.g., ADF, Data Bricks, Fabric).
