About the position

The Power BI Developer at MetaPhase Consulting will support CISA International by developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards and applications. This role involves gathering requirements, designing Microsoft solutions, and collaborating with a team to improve data quality and business processes. The developer will also coach and mentor team members while contributing to the tech transformation practice area.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements including process information, customer pain points, system requirements, and desired end state.
• Design and build Microsoft solutions using tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate for reports and dashboards.
• Prepare and present briefings to describe how reports and dashboards are constructed and used.
• Identify, analyze, interpret trends, and establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
• Work with a team of analysts to process information, identify efficiencies, and implement procedures to increase data quality.
• Collaborate with a team of developers and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the tech transformation practice area.
• Coach, mentor, and develop other members of the team.

Requirements

• A minimum of eight (8+) years of direct experience in data analysis, data visualization, and/or data management and reporting.
• Three (3+) years of direct experience with Power BI.
• One to three (1-3+) years of experience using Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience with designing, developing, and deploying Power BI dashboards.
• Experience working with large data sets, data models (transactional and dimensional), and dashboards.
• Experience acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and maintaining data systems from Development to Production.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS).

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Power BI certification.
