About the position

The Power BI Developer position is a full-time role focused on leveraging Power BI and SQL Server to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex queries and stored procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise architecture principles and will be responsible for creating dashboards, reports, and applications that support complex business analysis and application integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and applications.
• Write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Implement advanced Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop data models in Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.
• Utilize Python programming skills for data analysis and transformation.
• Work with Azure Databricks for data processing and analytics.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience applying Enterprise Architecture principles.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a lead capacity.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience designing and developing data models in Power BI/SSAS.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience designing and developing Power BI Report Builder reports.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with DAX and data transformation.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience designing and developing SQL queries, debugging, and tuning complex queries.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with WebFOCUS BI portals, dashboards, and reports.
• Experience with Cognos programs including Report Studio and Analysis Studio.
• Knowledge of JSON.
