About the position

The Power BI Developer is responsible for supporting Cushman and Wakefield People Function teams by designing informative and user-friendly reports and dashboards. This role focuses on enabling business leaders to make data-driven decisions, particularly in HR metrics. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to translate complex business requirements into effective reporting solutions, ensuring high-quality data presentation and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the various operations across Cushman and Wakefield geographically and functionally.
  • Collect and understand all necessary requirements for projects.
  • Design, develop, test, publish and maintain Power BI models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to present information logically and visually appealing.
  • Ensure data quality in completed projects by employing best strategies during development and testing.
  • Perform periodic audits to maintain the integrity of developed solutions.
  • Implement data best practices to ensure a common visual language for all data users and sources.
  • Support the development of efficient and value-added processes by questioning and partnering to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Maintain proper documentation around ongoing and completed projects.
  • Offer technical guidance and overall support to junior team members.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of end-to-end experience with Power BI and Power BI Service online.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, DAX, Power Query (M).
  • Familiarity with administering Power BI Service online.
  • Ability to collect, organize, reconcile, and analyze significant amounts of information.
  • Ability to identify Power BI problems/performance issues and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver completed projects per agreed upon deadlines.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity where lines of ownership aren't always clear.
  • Effective oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience servicing requests for information and leading group discussions.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to see the big picture and influence others.
  • Discipline to work with highly confidential information.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a business-facing analytical role with experience in interpreting data and analyzing results to identify trends.
  • Previous experience working in the human resource field is a definite asset.
  • Prior experience with Workday and Prism Analytics is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of other education and 10 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analytics or Power Platform Certifications is desired.

  • Previous experience working in the human resource field is a definite asset.
  • Prior experience with Workday and Prism Analytics is a plus.
