About the position

The Power BI Developer position at Diverse Lynx LLC is a full-time role based in Princeton, NJ, requiring on-site presence. The primary focus of this role is to leverage Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation, providing actionable insights to business stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that extract, transform, and load data from various sources into SQL Server databases. This includes optimizing and troubleshooting SQL Server queries and stored procedures to enhance performance and ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process. In addition to Power BI reporting, the role involves collaboration with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. The developer will implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake, participate in the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions, and monitor and maintain ETL processes to ensure data is consistently updated and accurate. Documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and architecture for future reference and maintenance is also a key responsibility. Troubleshooting for ETL and reporting issues will be part of the daily tasks, ensuring that the data systems operate smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience in Power BI reporting and ETL Testing.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and Azure/Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory.
• Ability to optimize and troubleshoot SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Experience in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions.
