About the position

The Senior PowerBI/Visualization Developer will lead the data analytics efforts within a data-driven organization. This role focuses on developing and maintaining high-quality visualizations and dashboards to present complex data insights to stakeholders. The position requires expertise in data visualization and dashboard development, as well as the ability to mentor other developers and enhance the organization's data analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop visualizations and dashboards that communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
• Lead the development of advanced analytic capabilities applied to data.
• Conduct analytics to identify systems and capabilities that enhance current data analysis efforts.
• Write and execute custom queries against systems and databases to identify patterns or trends.
• Develop and integrate new means of comparing and analyzing various datasets, both structured and unstructured.
• Work on data packaging to bring together separate but related datasets from within the organization and external sources.
• Assess current applications, analytics, product line, and data sources, making recommendations for enhancements.
• Develop summary and detailed reports of findings in written and graphical formats.
• Develop user-friendly data reports that productionize the data analytics produced during the contract.
• Develop automated processes to standardize and ensure quality assurance of large sets of raw data.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in visualization design and development
• Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other visualization tools
• Strong understanding of data analysis and data modeling
• Strong knowledge of advanced coding and the ability to write and execute custom queries against systems and databases
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Must possess a Minimum of a Secret Clearance
