About the position

As a Power BI Developer at Marsh McLennan Agency, you will be an integral part of the Technology team, focusing on analyzing business requirements and designing solutions to transform raw data into actionable insights. This role involves building multi-dimensional data models and creating interactive dashboards and reports that support business performance monitoring and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those needs.
• Map data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Develop and manage complex reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Build multi-dimensional data models and visually appealing dashboards.
• Collaborate with Business Partners and Stakeholders to understand their data needs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with Power BI development.
• Proven ability to design, develop, manage, document, and troubleshoot with the MS Power BI suite (Power Query/M/DAX).
• Strong understanding of database management systems and ETL frameworks.
• Experience with SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Azure Synapse or Data Factory.
• Exposure to other visualization tools like Qlik Sense or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud and programming languages like Python and Spark.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Azure boards, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
