About the position

The Power BI Developer role is a contract position based in New York, NY, focused on engaging in moderately complex initiatives within the Specialty Software Engineering domain. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing challenges, resolving issues, and collaborating with clients to deliver engineering tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Engage in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the Specialty Software Engineering domain.
• Examine and assess moderately complex challenges in Specialty Software Engineering.
• Assist in resolving moderately complex issues and collaborate with team members to achieve engineering deliverables.
• Work closely with client personnel on Specialty Software Engineering projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in data analytics, databases, and data-related projects (4-6 years).
• Knowledge of database management and testing (4-6 years).
• Proficiency in Power BI (4-6 years).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Qlikview (8 years preferred).
• Experience with Qliksense (8 years preferred).
• Experience with ETL processes (8 years preferred).
