About the position

The Power BI Developer at V2Soft is responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to meet the needs of business stakeholders. This role involves collaborating with data engineers and analysts to ensure effective data visualization and analysis, while also providing training and support to end users. The developer will also be tasked with maintaining data security and compliance, troubleshooting issues, and documenting processes for future reference.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business stakeholders' needs
• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes
• Developing self-service models and data analytics using Power BI service
• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports
• Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI
• Documenting data sources, data transformations, and report logic for future reference
• Developing user guides and documentation for end-users
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends
• Coordinating with the off-shore team to prioritize report development and moves to production
• Providing ongoing support and training to users on Power BI tools and customized data analytics apps.

Requirements

• 8+ years of programming experience
• At least 5+ years in database development and data analytics
• 5+ years of experience with Power BI, including report development and dashboard creation
• Strong SQL skills with experience in database management and querying
