About the position
The Power BI Developer position at CBIZ involves designing and maintaining data visualizations and financial reports to support decision-making for a law client in downtown LA. This hybrid role requires expertise in Power BI, SQL, and the ability to query multi-source data for custom financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Query data from sources like Elite 3E, SharePoint, and SQL; develop DAX queries.
- Produce financial reports (e.g., A/R, A/P, P&L).
- Collaborate with the Reporting Solutions Manager and financial teams.
Requirements
- Law firm or professional services background.
- Expertise in Power BI and data modeling.
- Experience with multi-source data querying, APIs and data compliance.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects, Tableau).
- Understanding of financial reporting concepts and knowledge of financial systems such as Elite 3E or Aderant.
- Strong communication skills.
