About the position

We are seeking a Senior Level Power BI Developer with over 10 years of experience in dashboard and data display development. This role involves transforming data into complex dashboards using Power BI and requires a SECRET Clearance. The position is primarily hybrid, with the possibility of being fully onsite depending on administrative requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust Power BI solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability through effective ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Design and implement ETL processes using tools such as Informatica to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Utilize Python for scripting and automation of data processing tasks.
• Create and manage dashboards and reports that provide insights into business performance metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement big data solutions leveraging Azure Data Lake for scalable data storage and processing.
• Perform shell scripting for automation of routine tasks and processes.
• Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in dashboard and data display development using Power BI.
• Proven experience in developing and managing data warehouse solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms, particularly Azure Data Lake.
• Experience with Informatica or similar ETL tools is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell Scripting is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming with Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
• Experience with VBA for automating Excel tasks is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
