About the position
The PowerBI Developer at UST Global is responsible for collaborating with data analysts and business stakeholders to create intuitive and interactive visualizations that support data-driven decision-making. This role involves managing CI/CD pipelines, developing automation scripts, and designing Power BI dashboards to handle large datasets from various sources. The developer will also provide troubleshooting support and ensure that data visualizations adhere to business logic and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Visualize and integrate multiple reports with user-interactive features.
- Set up automated email notifications for report updates and key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Provide troubleshooting and support for deployment-related issues.
- Utilize Power BI to handle complex datasets and provide visual insights.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation.
- Advanced experience in developing and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Experience working with data from multiple sources, including Excel, OData, and databases.
- Excellent analytical skills to translate complex data requirements into visual representations.
- Experience creating interactive features in Power BI.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Power BI Premium and Power BI Service.
- Familiarity with DAX and M programming languages.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms like Azure Data Factory and SQL.
