About the position

The Power BI Developer role is focused on developing and maintaining Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and ensure data quality and integrity for accurate reporting and analysis. The developer will also be responsible for optimizing reports, training users, and staying updated with Power BI features.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business objectives.
• Design and implement data models to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
• Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Perform data analysis and create insights that drive business strategy.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability.
• Train and support users on Power BI tools and best practices.
• Stay updated with Power BI features and enhancements, recommending improvements as needed.
• Document processes and data models for future reference and compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Power BI (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
