About the position

Zurich North America is seeking a Power BI Developer to join their team in Schaumburg, IL. This role involves working in a hybrid environment and focuses on data management, analysis, and development using Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data interrogation techniques and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Perform data interrogation and analysis to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Utilize ETL processes to manage data flow and transformation.
• Support Agile Scrum development practices within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in Data Management, or a High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience in Data Management.
• Strong Power BI development skills.
• Experience with data interrogation and analysis techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Agile Scrum development teams.
• Basic knowledge of ETL processes.
• Conceptual knowledge of Power Apps and Azure Databricks.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience in the insurance industry.
