About the position

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for gathering requirements, building Power BI reports, and completing data mapping and cleansing. This senior role requires expertise in data analysis, report generation, and data modeling, with a focus on enhancing data-driven decision-making capabilities. The candidate will collaborate with various departments, document processes, and ensure data accuracy and governance across reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate technical specs, document and deliver actionable insights.
• Create and optimize data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security and governance across all reports and dashboards.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and data analytics.

Requirements

• Strong experience in requirements gathering and working with business customers.
• Proven experience in setting up a Power BI solution from scratch.
• Expertise in data analysis, report generation, and data modeling.
• Ability to document methodologies, processes, and findings comprehensively.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS S3/Redshift for data mart building.
