About the position

The City of Chandler is looking for a skilled PowerBI Developer to join their team on a 12-month contract with potential for renewals. This role focuses on developing and maintaining data reporting and analytics solutions using PowerBI, T-SQL, and SSIS, with an emphasis on enhancing the existing proof-of-concept data warehouse and deploying reports on PowerBI Cloud. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with various client groups to understand their needs and develop efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data reporting and analytics solutions using PowerBI.
• Enhance the existing proof-of-concept data warehouse.
• Deploy reports on PowerBI Cloud.
• Interact with various client groups to understand their needs.
• Develop solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in data reporting and analytics.
• Proficiency in PowerBI, including building reports/dashboards from scratch.
• Experience with DAX solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with client groups.
• Experience with deploying reports on PowerBI Cloud.
• Experience with other cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with SSIS.
• Ability to handle big batches of data.
• Ability to develop and optimize stored procedures.
• Strong T-SQL skills.
