About the position

The position involves designing, developing, and implementing interactive dashboards and automated workflows using Power BI. The role focuses on enhancing decision-making through effective data visualization and ensuring accurate reporting by integrating SQL systems and managing data flows. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while maintaining technical documentation and optimizing performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement interactive dashboards and automated workflows using Power BI.
• Integrate SQL systems, managing data flows and ensuring timely data refreshes for accurate reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Power BI dashboards and automated workflows.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to streamline manual tasks and boost efficiency.
• Test and validate data models and automated solutions for accuracy before deployment.
• Stay current with BI technologies and methodologies, offering recommendations for improvements.
• Contribute to team success by sharing insights across various projects.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and row-level security implementation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, with fluency in XLOOKUP, Power Pivot Tables, and other array formulas.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Power Apps, Excel, SharePoint, and integration with financial software.
