About the position

The Analytics team is seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer/Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. A successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, create interactive and insightful reports and dashboards, and contribute to data-driven decision-making within the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements. You will design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize and analyze complex data sets. Additionally, you will create data models and perform data transformations to ensure data accuracy and consistency in Power BI. This includes creating models by joining tables from multiple source systems with large volumes of data, such as SAP, BW, HANA, SQL, PI, Enablon, Track, and Cloud systems. You will also be responsible for optimizing and troubleshooting existing Power BI reports to enhance performance and user experience. Integrating Power BI solutions with other data sources and systems as needed will be part of your duties. Staying abreast of industry best practices and new features in Power BI, you will recommend and implement improvements to enhance reporting capabilities. Furthermore, you will provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, data engineers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of Power BI solutions. Finally, creating strong and insightful documentation regarding Power BI solutions developed will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Create strong and insightful documentation regarding Power BI solutions developed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data and Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
• Experience in designing and developing data models for business intelligence.
• Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Power BI certification.
