About the position

The Power BI Developer will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced business intelligence solutions tailored for the finance sector. This position involves close collaboration with various departments to deliver data-driven insights to key financial clients, ensuring that the solutions are user-friendly and data is accurately represented.

Responsibilities

• Craft and sustain comprehensive Power BI dashboards and reports, prioritizing user experience alongside clear and accurate data representation.
• Develop complex SQL queries and create ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading from financial systems into Power BI.
• Oversee and cleanse non-standardized data to ensure accurate integration with SQL systems for seamless data flow and timely report updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation for all business intelligence solutions.
• Troubleshoot and enhance the performance of Power BI dashboards and automated processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Recognize opportunities for process automation, streamlining manual tasks, and improving overall efficiency.
• Test and validate data models and automation processes to ensure data accuracy before deployment.
• Stay updated about the latest technologies and methodologies in business intelligence and propose improvements when necessary.
• Lend expertise across various ongoing projects, including SQL database architecture, ETL workflows, and production reporting enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Power BI Developer role or similar
• Proficient in Cloud Technologies
• Demonstrated experience with Database Object
• Knowledge and understanding of Informatica
• Experience with MapR
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
• Proven knowledge of AB Testing
• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI)
• Ability to prepare Business Requirement Document
• Experience in creating Dashboards
• Familiarity with Data Sources
• Proficient in Dax Technologies
• Real Estate & Property industry experience is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
