About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience working with Power BI, strong SQL skills, and a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, utilizing your expertise in Power BI Service, Query Editor, and advanced SQL coding. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI. You will utilize Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service to create interactive and visually appealing reports. Your work will involve complex SQL queries, including PL/SQL coding, to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources. You will need to understand source-to-target mappings and independently develop code to ensure accurate data representation. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with data architects and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality reporting solutions. You will apply your advanced knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts to design and optimize data models. Additionally, you will perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, presenting your findings to stakeholders. Regular communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure project deliverables are met is essential. You will also be responsible for escalating issues or delays to project leads promptly and proactively seeking clarifications to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.
• Utilize Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service to create interactive and visually appealing reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL coding.
• Strong experience with Power BI Query Editor and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience in reporting development and creating visually appealing dashboards.
