About the position

The BI Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Business Intelligence solutions using Snowflake Data Warehouse and Microsoft PowerBI. This role requires proficiency in SQL programming and a deep understanding of data modeling and relational databases. The position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extensions, and it will be hybrid, requiring presence in Irvine, CA for 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BI solutions using Snowflake Data Warehouse and Microsoft PowerBI.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Develop data models and ensure data integrity within relational databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for BI solutions and data-related issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a PowerBI Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, star schema, data lake, and data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
