About the position

The Power BI Developer role at Advaiya involves developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-level Power BI reports and dashboards. The position requires expertise in handling data from various sources and creating efficient reporting solutions, focusing on both back-end and front-end development aspects of Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Handle and retrieve data from various sources including API, SQL, Azure, Big Query, and MongoDB.
• Utilize DAX and M queries for statistical analysis and on-demand reporting.
• Implement back-end development using semantic layers, data flows, and REST APIs for real-time dashboards.
• Optimize queries for real-time reporting with large datasets.
• Develop front-end solutions focusing on UI/UX and data modeling in Power BI.
• Implement writeback features using Power Apps and Python/R visual development.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Proficiency in DAX and M queries, including time intelligence and statistical analysis.
• Experience with back-end development in Power BI, including data flows and REST APIs.
• Strong skills in front-end development, UI/UX, and data modeling in Power BI.
• Experience with SQL, Azure, and Big Query is a plus.
• A background in Computer Science or a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Advanced Excel skills.
