About The Position

The Power BI Financial Developer at Heath Consultants Incorporated is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions that enhance financial decision-making and strategic planning. This role requires a blend of financial acumen and technical expertise in Power BI to convert complex financial data into actionable insights, collaborating closely with finance teams and stakeholders to create user-friendly dashboards and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in principles, theories, and concepts related to business intelligence.
• Broad knowledge of business/function and development life cycle.
• Prior Reporting Developer or BI Developer experience.
• Strong SQL Server experience along with Python.
• 3-4 years' experience developing Financial reports in Power BI.
• In-depth experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.).
• Experience with the Agile/Scrum framework is a plus.
• Strong writing and documentation skills.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate with both business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Integrate various financial data sources into Power BI to create a unified view of financial performance.
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports that highlight key financial metrics and trends.
• Analyze financial data to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Work with finance teams and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuously optimize and maintain Power BI solutions to ensure performance, accuracy, and relevance.
• Provide training and support to users.
• Ensure that all financial data visualizations comply with relevant data privacy regulations and internal security policies.
