About the position

As a Power BI Reporting Data Architect at Insight Global, you will play a pivotal role in creating a specific analytics platform design for our client. This will involve utilizing technology platforms and enablers such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, and PowerBI, with a focus on enabling AI, ML, and GenAI capabilities. Your expertise will ensure that the solutions are designed with integrity, adhering to copyright, governance, and regulatory practices. You will collaborate closely with the Analytics Strategy Consultant and the COE Solutions Architect to infuse bespoke architecture through techno-functional requirements. Effective communication of system requirements and specifications to key stakeholders will be essential, enabling delivery teams to meet customer expectations. You will also provide ongoing technical leadership and advisory oversight to delivery teams and stakeholder data consumers, ensuring that the analytics platform remains robust and effective. In addition to these responsibilities, you will assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise. Monitoring and optimizing the ongoing quality, performance, and security of the client's analytics platform will be a critical part of your role, ensuring that the platform meets the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create the specific analytics platform design using technology platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, and PowerBI.
• Ensure solutions are designed with integrity, adhering to copyright, governance, and regulatory practices.
• Collaborate with Analytics Strategy Consultant and COE Solutions Architect to infuse bespoke architecture through techno-functional requirements.
• Communicate system requirements and specifications to key stakeholders to enable delivery teams to meet customer expectations.
• Provide ongoing technical leadership and advisory oversight to delivery teams and stakeholder data consumers.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues when they arise.
• Monitor and optimize the ongoing quality, performance, and security of the client's analytics platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressing data processing architecture within an Azure cloud-based transaction processing environment, preferably within the healthcare insurance industry.
• 4+ years of cloud-based development using cloud-native services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, with an integrated data governance foundation in Purview or Unity (or equivalent).
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience in building fit-for-purpose analytics data platforms.
• 3+ years transitioning/modernizing data exchange to meet platform accuracy and timeliness objectives.
• 2+ years leading/working within data engineering teams (hybrid or offshore preferred).
