About the position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / BI Analyst proficient in SQL and Power BI. This role is crucial for transforming data into actionable insights that support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will analyze data, create insightful reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet their data needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
• Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data trends and insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.
• Provide training and support to team members on BI tools and data analysis techniques.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and visualization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with SQL databases and writing complex queries.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with DAX and data modeling.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data visualization best practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
