About the position

The Power BI Support Engineer at TEKsystems is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI and related technologies. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with end users and engineering teams, ensuring customer issues are resolved efficiently and within defined service level agreements (SLAs). The position emphasizes a collaborative approach to problem-solving and a passion for technology and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Power BI and related technologies.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve customer-reported issues within defined SLAs.
  • Act as a bridge between end users and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Handle escalations and deescalate situations effectively.
  • Communicate technical errors and solutions clearly to end users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer support processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Power BI.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Azure Fundamentals.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and basic knowledge of SSRS.
  • Experience in technical support projects and customer handling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of SSAS and SSIS is an added advantage.
  • Deep technical skills in a variety of technologies.
