About the position

The Power BI Tech Lead will be responsible for developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI. This role involves connecting to various data sources, transforming data for business intelligence, and architecting data models in Power BI. The position requires strong analytical skills to translate data into informative visuals and reports, as well as excellent stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence.
• Query and onboard data from SQL tables, Hive, Azure, and AWS S3 sources.
• Architect data models in Power BI with complex joins and develop Power Automate workflows.
• Build DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards with excellent UI/UX for executive leadership.
• Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards.
• Publish and schedule Power BI reports as per business requirements.
• Understand business requirements and develop data models accordingly.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience with Power BI.
• Experience with Apache Hive and SQL.
• Master's degree preferred, MBA is a plus.
• Proficient in AWS and S3.
• Strong UX/UI skills for dashboard development.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills.

• Certified PowerBI Developer.
