About the position

The Power Electrical Engineer at Nucor Corporation is responsible for the design, analysis, and reliability of the plant's electrical systems. This role involves defining project scopes, estimating budgets, managing installations, and ensuring the documentation and closure of assigned projects. The engineer will also focus on developing and improving electrical safety practices and providing technical training to the team, with a strong emphasis on safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze plant electrical systems for reliability.
• Define project scopes and estimate budgets for electrical projects.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding project progress and requirements.
• Manage installations of electrical systems and ensure proper documentation.
• Close out assigned projects effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and improve electrical safe work practices and procedures.
• Provide technical training to team members on electrical systems and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
