As a Hardware Engineer at Google, you will be at the forefront of designing and building the systems that power the world's largest and most powerful computing infrastructure. Your role will involve developing hardware, software, and networking technologies that are essential for all of Google's services. You will work on projects that span from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design, ensuring that these systems are taken through to high volume manufacturing. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the machinery that supports our cutting-edge data centers, ultimately affecting millions of Google users. In this position, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead projects across various engineering domains within a data center facility. This includes overseeing construction, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and debugging in collaboration with vendors. You will innovate and design onboard power conversion specifications and solutions, such as hotswaps, single-phase/multi-phase voltage regulators, LDOs, and intermediate bus converters. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you assess performance, cost, reliability, and availability trade-offs in your designs. You will also drive cross-functional collaboration with system architects, chip designers, hardware electrical engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout, testing, and validation of new technologies. Your leadership will guide the evaluation and adoption of compelling technologies in partnership with industry leaders, ensuring that Google remains at the cutting edge of power delivery systems.
