About the position

The Power Generation Engineering Manager at PF Holdings is responsible for overseeing all design, engineering, and technical matters related to power generation projects. This role involves monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with established programs and procedures, and providing technical leadership to the engineering team. The manager will lead a team of engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their professional development.
• Ensure engineering projects meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Oversee and coordinate engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources effectively, and monitor project progress.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, for seamless project execution.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the engineering department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a material science-related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of related management experience.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate across functions and levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge to new systems to develop quality controls.
• Knowledge and practice of lean principles and Six Sigma.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with tools such as JIRA/Confluence, Mattermost/Odoo, CANoe/CANape, Mathworks tools Matlab/Simulink, and Microsoft Office.
