About the position

The Power Platform Application Developer will be responsible for developing software solutions that enhance and support the 2.0 Power Platform application within the Administrative Applications SharePoint team. This role requires a high level of creativity and independence, as the developer will engage in various complex tasks, including designing system specifications and programming. The position involves working with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to automate business processes and create reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs and conferring with users.
• Investigate problem areas and prepare solutions by determining system specifications and standards.
• Design and develop Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps using Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports for data visualization and analysis.
• Develop Power Automate Flows for business process automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
• Experience with Agile development processes and sprint planning.
• Design and development experience of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps using Dataverse or SharePoint.
• Experience in creating Power BI reports.
• Experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, and business process Flows.
• Good understanding of Dataverse tables and their uses.
• Familiarity with the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
