About the position

Anika Systems is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join their expanding Federal team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying custom applications and workflows using the Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. The position is fully remote and requires a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining a government suitability clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Build business applications and automate processes to enhance functionality and streamline operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and architect Power Platform solutions, including information architecture and security models.
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including monitoring service requests and managing user permissions.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems and data sources, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Write custom code and scripts using Power Fx and JavaScript to extend Power Platform capabilities.
• Provide technical support to end-users and deliver training and documentation for user adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful Power Platform projects.
• Enforce security policies and ensure solutions comply with security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications with Power Apps.
• 3+ years of experience developing automations with Power Automate.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Proficiency with Dataverse and understanding of its role within Power Platform applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience configuring Environment security with Business Units, Teams, Security Roles, and other security features within the Power Platform.
• Experience with setting up Power Platform system settings such as Data Management and Auditing.
• Proficiency with Power Platform governance and administration, including configuring DLP policies and monitoring solutions.
• Experience developing with Power Fx, PowerShell, JavaScript, or other scripting languages to extend Power Platform functionality.
• Federal work experience is a plus.
