About the position

The Commercial Plumbing Sales Rep is responsible for generating sales of plumbing products and services to commercial clients. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with business owners to promote and sell plumbing solutions, requiring a strong understanding of the plumbing industry and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential commercial clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on client inquiries.
  • Conduct site visits and consultations to understand client requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and industry standards.
  • Promote the benefits and features of plumbing products and services to clients.
  • Stay updated on new products, technologies, and industry developments.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in ServiceTitan.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, project management) to ensure successful project execution.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements/contracts.
  • Close sales deals and ensure contract terms are met.
  • Handle any post-sale issues or concerns to maintain client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent; Journeyman's/Master's Plumbing License
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the commercial plumbing
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of plumbing products and services.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
