About the position

The Power Systems Area Sales Manager at Tractor & Equipment Co. is responsible for overseeing the Power Systems territory, focusing on revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and personnel management. This leadership role involves leading a team of sales, service, and support staff, formulating business plans, managing budgets, and identifying business opportunities while ensuring alignment with Caterpillar and Harnish Group Inc. expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the T&E Power Systems territory for revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
• Lead a team of sales, service, and support staff at the Belgrade branch.
• Formulate business plans and programs to manage budgets effectively.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage potential product challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
• Evaluate statistical reports to determine performance and make necessary recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or ten years related experience including five years of supervisory or management experience and five years progressive sales experience.
• Experience at Caterpillar, Cummins, or MTU is a plus.
• Proven track record of industry success and exceptional business management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to articulate data analysis.
