About the position

The Power Systems Engineer/Electrical Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and presenter, focusing on enhancing the sales process and customer experience through tailored presentations and demonstrations of electrical solutions. This role involves close collaboration with sales teams and stakeholders to address customer needs and promote the company's power systems portfolio, particularly in data center applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative product and solution expertise to customers around electrical solutions.
• Work with the sales team to understand sales objectives and tailor presentations to customer interests.
• Represent the power systems portfolio by presenting trends and value propositions to customers both in-person and virtually.
• Lead EBC initiatives around data center three-phase power solutions used in customer demonstrations.
• Develop customized presentations and conduct product demonstrations for customers and partners.
• Maintain the Power Lab in a state of readiness for events and demonstrations.
• Capture and communicate customer insights as needed.
• Interact with Power Product Development and marketing divisions to stay updated on new technology.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent certifications and experience.
• 5-10+ years of Power Applications Engineering experience.
• Experience in data centers is preferred.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of customer engagement processes.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with all levels of customers, from executives to technical staff.
• Familiarity with international standards is a plus.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a lab environment.
