About the position

The Power Systems Engineer Intern position is designed for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in power systems analysis, optimization, and project management while working with leading employers through RippleMatch's platform.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects focused on the optimization of power systems operations, stability, and reliability.
  • Document and present project findings and technical details effectively.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to explain technical concepts and findings.
  • Assist in the analysis and modeling of power systems using simulation tools.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of power systems, electrical machines, and network analysis.
  • Familiarity with simulation and modeling tools specific to power systems analysis (e.g., PSS/E, MATLAB, ETAP).
  • Knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution principles.
