Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Solution Architect within the Power System Business Transformation team. The Solution Architect is a critical role, responsible for understanding the particular segment and customers' Energy & Power System needs, bringing forward architectures with electrical distribution and digital solutions. This position requires interfacing with customers and different Schneider Electric teams to bring together the most optimized solution to meet customer needs via current and future technology and products. The Solution Architect will identify opportunities for enhancement in our product and technology portfolio and drive thought leadership. This role is designed for a self-starter with a technical background, system architecture skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, who can adapt to a dynamic environment. Initially, the focus will be on Power & Grid and Hydrogen opportunities, with the flexibility to adapt as the New Energy Landscape market progresses. In this role, you will understand the segment-specific customer applications, processes, requirements, and constraints to develop and propose the best solution. You will lead the technical part of the commercial roadmap and action plan, which includes architectures, systems, features qualification, prescription, and specifications drafting for the specific segment/customer. You will perform technical influencing and specifying activities at early stages of business development and opportunity identification, and you will be able to present and defend technical solutions. Additionally, you will develop required technical and commercial argumentation documents and provide answers to complex technical questions from customers in cooperation with technical experts from different Business Units. You will lead thought leadership and education internally and externally through white papers, presentations, and other means, simplifying technically complex topics to drive educated decisions across opportunities, products, and execution. Cross-collaboration with strategy and various offer marketing teams will be essential to provide feedback and identify opportunities for product needs by segments and applications. You will also collaborate with quotation, tendering, and product engineering functions to create competitive advantages and successfully execute segment/application needs. Reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) will be part of your responsibilities, providing the commercial team with clear technical synthesis of Power System Power Train competitive advantages and proposed technical deviations. You will provide technical advice to sales and capture teams, propose competitive solutions and clarifications, and offer technical support during the execution phase for set customers and projects as necessary, driving closed-loop learning for future opportunities.
