About the position

The Power Up Assembly Associate at Vestil Manufacturing is responsible for assembling and testing various systems including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. This role involves interpreting technical diagrams, performing product testing, and ensuring that all assembled products meet customer specifications. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot product issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Interpret prints and labeling diagrams for assembly.
• Perform product testing to ensure functionality.
• Package completed products according to customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot product problems and handle customer returns.
• Read work orders to determine product specifications or material requirements.
• Adjust, repair, or replace components to correct defects.
• Clean parts using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
• Use drill press and roll saw to refine materials for assembly.
• Test completed units to ensure they meet specifications.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in assembly or related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of written instructions and work-related documents.
• Basic computer skills and good mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and basic hand tools.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with using volt meters for diagnostics.
